Learning and Development Manager – Near Kingston / Hybrid. A fantastic and newly created opportunity to join this well-regarded and award winning travel company based near Kingston where you will be responsible for end-to-end people development including business partnering, design and delivery of in person, virtual and eLearning solutions to meet the business needs.
Learning and Development Manager Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of People Development, you will conduct regular needs analysis with all business units to understand current capabilities and future needs to make recommendations on the most urgent development needs. You will design and deliver blended learning solutions including engaging classroom learning through to digital learning. You will maintain knowledge of the latest learning methodologies and implement processes to measure the effectiveness of learning programmes, using the results to influence future initiatives. You will support with the on-boarding programme to ensure quality and consistency to new starters as well as soft skills training for entry level through to middle management. You will also proactively manage the Learning Management System (LMS), monitor learner engagement and maintain accurate records for business compliance purposes.
Learning and Development Manager Skills Required
- Experience delivering learning solutions in person and via online channels
- Ability to partner senior stakeholder to understand their business needs and create bespoke solutions to address challenges or opportunities that arise
- Experience using a Learning Management System and online design tools such as Adobe, Rise or Articulate Storyline
- Digitally capable with experience designing digital content and eLearning solutions
- Able to work with competency frameworks and talent development frameworks
- Learning / CIPD Qualification preferred
Learning and Development Manager Additional Information
A basic salary up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience, 25 days holiday, private medical, life assurance, discounted travel benefits
The role will mainly be office based in the Kingston area with some flexibility for remote working (a couple of days a week) and there may also be some occasional travel to other sites in the north of England.
