Market Development Manager – City Sightseeing Tours – Remote – £40-50k + bonus. An excellent opportunity to join this entrepreneurial and experiential city tours operator with ambitions to scale their business in the years ahead. The role can be remote from anywhere in Europe.

Market Development Manager Responsibilities

• Optimising the current product portfolio, identifying gaps for new tours and collaborating on product ideas and opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with regional teams to create and deliver the market expansion plans
• Utilising your analytical skills to optimise existing product portfolio, maximising revenue, quality and ability to scale
• Lead on the pricing strategy for your region, ensuring competitive edge whilst maintaining gross and net margins
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to optimise product quality, implementing changes to maximise customer experience
• Lead on regional contracting with DMC’s, attractions, OTA’s and tour operators

Market Development Skills Required

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (market manager, product manager, contracting manager) within the attractions and/or tours space
• Ability to demonstrate where you have built, launched and refined travel products
• Highly analytical, a whizz at spreadsheets with a numerical skill set to build present and interpret data
• Experience positioning products to partners such as OTA’s
• Experience in a start up / scale up business, comfortable working at speed and utilising data in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Market Development Manager Additional Details

• A basic salary in the region of £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience + bonus
• Remote working, with flexibility for some international travel
