Key responsibilities:

• Accepts bookings by email, telephone or other means of communication.
• Checks availability and prices
• Submits offers
• Upon acceptance, keys the booking into the booking engine and sends reservation confirmation together with proforma invoice, if required.
• Double checks his / her work for the following days.
• Assists the operation departments to resolve possible problems deriving from reservations department

Dimensions of job:

• Good knowledge of all Asian Oasis products and packages / itineraries.
• A friendly, outgoing, polite and welcoming telephone etiquette and personality.
• Flexibility in terms of workdays / hours (sometimes calls will need to be taken weekends / evenings).
• Ability to use MS Office and Outlook, and to learn mastering Asian Oasis’ booking engine.
• Strict attention to details and adherence to Asian Oasis SOP’s for reservations and accounting matters.
• A minimum of one year in a reservations department of a hotel or within the travel industry is required. Good command of English is desired.

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, polite, friendly telephone voice with good interpersonal and phone-sales skills.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and accountability for his / her job in the reservation department.
• Male / female, minimum age of 26 years
• Good Thai and English communication skills.
