An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a long standing educational school trave company and be part of their growing team. The role can be remote or hybrid dependant on location.

Sales Manager responsibilities:

• Sourcing new products suitable for school groups that could increase revenue
• Identifying new client opportunities
• Identifying new product, audience and territory opportunities to increase the range of trips that schools book
• Create a sales plan and ensuring that KPI’s and targets are met
• Work closely with other departments (commercial and product) to identify ways of increasing repeat customers, and key areas of improvement for customer retention
• Support on commercial proposals as required
• Management for key projects as required for business growth

Sales Manager skills:

• Experience in a similar role in either, commercial sales, business development or sales
• Experience in working in travel industry (groups or school travel preferred)
• Knowledge of the market and identifying growth opportunities
• Charismatic person, great communicator, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised, and outside the box thinker
• Must have a high level of written and spoken English
