Education Sales Manager – Mandarin Speaking – Hybrid/ Liverpool – 40k

My client, who is an industry leader in Educational development, on a global scale is looking to grow their travel operations team. They provide a platform for sharing of best practices, resources, & opportunities to increase school improvement, teacher development & student transformation. They are looking for someone who either has experience in the travel or education sector, to be considered the right candidate for this role. Must be fluent in English & Mandarin, as this is to cover their China market. Ideally hybrid with Liverpool, but may consider London area. Paying up to 40k

Sales Manager – Responsibilities:

• Grow customer base – in public, private and international schools throughout China.
• Grow Agent network
• Grow Education Bureau network
• Generate and convert sales enquiries.
• Lead the development of a professional sales and account management team.
• Develop more detailed backgrounds on their China contacts.
• Help improve the community knowledge on what they are all about and how they can help their school develop global dimensions
• Follow-up sales call with quote proposals based on expert recommendations.
• Send reminder prompts at set sale funnel stages
• Scheduling appointments for their sales team and school transformation experts.
• Be a central and compelling advocate of the brand, their customers, and customers’ experience both on and off site.
• Be conscious, accountable for, and supportive of the rest of the business in driving targeted YoY Growth and Revenue in all regions.

Sales Manager – Key Skills Required:

• Experience with Microsoft Office essential: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Native Mandarin speaker
• Fluent English speaker
• Expert work experience in overseas study tours of at least 3 years.
• Experience in Hosting Chinese delegates and groups in the UK.
• Desirable experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably HubSpot.
• Travel itinerary and camps Product design
• Recruiting agents and promotion partners
• Liaising with Education Bureau and Foreign Affairs
• Relationship Management with Chinese sister schools
• Account managing China wide network of local partners and agents
• Receiving and managing enquiries, winning business from other competitors.
• Using task management software: Monday.com.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, not afraid to ask for clarification.
• Be able to effectively manage your time in a busy environment.
• Work independently and actively seeks resolutions to problems that may occur
• Hard working and persistent.
• Degree Required.
