Each Sales Team Leader at Blue Bay Travel is directly responsible for the performance and development of 5-9 Personal Travel Advisors (PTA\’s).
In addition, our Sales Team Leaders provide coaching and support to Sales Team Members across all areas of the Sales Function (Homeworking, Call Center and Online) on a daily basis.
Supporting Personal Travel Advisors in handling quote volume and achieving contact deadlines, and monitoring and driving the achievement of customer service standards and sales performance through coaching, task allocation, and the reporting of information and providing feedback to the Sales Manager.
Required Skills and Experience

Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Team Leading Level 2, or equivalent qualification or experience
Tasks and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Managing, developing and driving target achievement of 5-9 PTAs
  • Ensuring quality standards are achieved
  • Enabling continual improvement across the Sales Function
  • Setting targets for individual Personal Travel Advisors and coaching them to enable achievement
  • Measuring PTA performance against KPI\’s
  • Addressing mistakes and putting tangible measures in place to avoid further occurrences
  • Conducting quality checks on calls, email and quotes, and providing feedback
  • Monitoring call/enquiry flow, answering overflow calls and assisting as needed to ensure efficient customer service
  • Responding to PTA questions and queries
  • Driving knowledge sharing; allocating \’fam trips\’, identifying training needs, arranging follow up and circulation of information afterwards
  • Updating and preparing reports for the Sales Manager
  • Observing and providing feedback to the Sales manager
Hours, Salary and Benefits
  • Starting Salary £20,500 – £23,000
  • Plus monthly bonus, based on PTA performance
  • Salary increases based on personal performance
  • Working hours include weekends, late shifts (12:15- 21:30) and bank holidays
  • 32 days holiday, rising to 35 with service
