Job Description

GCS Recruitment are looking for a Senior Android Developer to work with one of the leading financial companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

Creating and building advanced applications for the Android platform
Liaising with various teams to implement, design and introduce new features
Collaborating with other IT specialists to create optimum software
Conducting unit-test code for robustness, functionality, as well as to ensure general reliability
Configure any possible bugs and enhance application performance

Requirements:

BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar subject
Experience in software development and Android app development
Have published at least one original Android app
Experience using Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
