GCS Recruitment are searching for a Senior Software Developer specialised in .NET to work with one of the leading software companies in Malta.

Responsibilities include:

• Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces
• Directing system testing and validation procedures
• Directing software programming and documentation development
• Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals
• Liaising with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance
• Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status
• Overseeing and monitoring day-to-day performance
• Leading, assisting and providing any training to the team of developers
• Delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
• Encouraging motivation, creativity and risk-taking
• Taking team members’ feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts

Requirements:

• Minimum of a qualification in Information Technology or Business and Computing
• Specialised in .Net Development
• Knowledge of the following skills would be ideal; Azure, security, Web APIs, API Manager, REST, SOAP, ITK, SQL Server, Azure, Javascript, XML/XLS, MS/SQL
• Strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Decision-making skills
• Prioritisation skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate
