Technical Business Analyst – Surry – Travel Industry. An exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable travel company where you will be responsible for translating business needs to the technical teams, evaluating solutions from different technical suppliers and supporting with the implementation process.

Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting with the testing and deployment of new technologies, help prepare training materials for the users, analyse how different interfaces should be used to address business requirements and using process improvement analysis to resolve technical issues.

You will recommend ways to support business change using technologies, analyse ways to support the finance and invoicing function with supplier settlement and use your technical knowledge to improve processes when it comes to reservations, flight booking, ticketing and fare quoting.

Technical Business Analyst Skills Required

• We are looking for someone with technical / business analysis experience gained in the travel industry.
• An appreciation of the commercial and technical issues when it comes to selling leisure travel and air products.
• Experience of one or more GDS, technical aggregators and ‘on demand’ accommodation’ providers.
• Knowledge of reporting tools and SQL would be an advantage
• Knowledge of back office systems, payment processing and how this integrates with sales systems

Technical Business Analyst Package

A competitive salary depending on experience (to be discussed on application). This role will ideally be office based in Surrey head office but a part office, part remote working arrangement could also be discussed.
