An exciting new role has become available for a Travel Account Manager e to join this successful Agency representing a variety of clients. This is a great opportunity to someone with existing experience within the travel and tourism industry and looking to progress their career in destination management. Travel Account Manager Responsibilities:–

• Manage and grow client accounts
• Initiate innovative and creative marketing programs & sales incentives
• Plan and manage individual client budgets
• Co-ordinate and host educational trips
• Develop a training program and conduct trainings
• Develop and co-ordinate industry outreach
• Assist with event organisation and attend exhibitions and shows on behalf of clients
• Provide support to Senior Account Manager and wider team
• Work closely with the PR representative for clients

Travel Account Manager Requirements:

• Travel industry experience, ideally in client representation
• Confident in the management of the complexities of running multiple accounts concurrently
• Knowledge of the UK & Irish travel industries & key tour operators to the USA
• Be prepared to travel (both domestically and overseas)
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
• Full, clean driving licence
• A friendly, outgoing and confident person with a smart appearance
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and approach to work is required
• Demonstrable aptitude for attention to detail and creativity
• Motivated, adaptable and able to work well under pressure
