Travel Sales Consultant Responsibilities

You will be responsible for working as part of a small sales team, spending time speaking to customers to understand their needs and making sales calls. Most of your calls will be managing inbound enquiries but you may also make proactive calls when the opportunity arises to generate further business. You will report on your sales/activity and continuously seek improvements where possible.

Travel Sales Consultant Skills Required

• Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry – preferably a self-catering accommodation business or tour operator
• A proven understanding of sales process and telesales e.g. how to qualify, why you qualify, how to quote, how to close etc
• Ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of customers
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical capabilities to monitor and drive own performance
• Results focussed

Travel Sales Consultant Additional Info

A competitive basic salary dependant on experience (to be discussed on application), an excellent commission structure, generous holiday allowance, casual dress code and a number of other perks. The majority of working hours will be between Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday if required. 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 from home if desired.
