The event, themed "Empowering Talent and Technology Towards Tomorrow," focused on how artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionising recruitment processes and enhancing talent matching.

Daryl Lau, Sales Director at Jobsdb by SEEK, noted the rapid transformation AI is bringing to recruitment and talent management. "AI and innovative technologies are reshaping recruitment and talent management at an unprecedented pace," he said. The conference addressed the challenges employers face in identifying suitable candidates amidst high competition and talent mobility, whilst also highlighting the growing demand for AI skills.

The conference featured panel discussions with industry leaders, including Edward Ng from Vita Green Group and Fanny Lau from New World Development, who discussed AI's potential to optimise HR workflows. They emphasised the importance of combining AI tools with human soft skills like communication and collaboration.

Jobsdb also announced the launch of its new Personalised Targeting feature, which uses AI to refine hiring processes by learning from employers' unique hiring activities. Additionally, the platform introduced "Assist," an AI-driven hiring partner that automates tasks like prescreening and reference checks.
