Metcalfe brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Access Hospitality, where he managed product development across a diverse hospitality portfolio. His background includes senior roles at VE Interactive and OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings. Additionally, Metcalfe is a hotel owner, providing him with unique insights into the challenges faced by the hospitality industry.
At Journey, Metcalfe will focus on enhancing the company's Hospitality Performance Platform, which helps luxury hotels increase revenue by offering experiences beyond just room bookings. Journey, trusted by over 750 hotels and resorts, is investing in new product functionalities, such as an Experience Management System, to support its hotel partners.
