Loganair, the UK's leading regional airline, is set to boost Jersey's connectivity with mainland Europe by launching a new direct service to Bordeaux. Starting from 19 June and running until 5 October, the flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, offering passengers a convenient route to one of France's most celebrated regions. One-way fares are priced from £79.99 from Jersey to Bordeaux and €89.99 ($___) from Bordeaux to Jersey.
The introduction of the Bordeaux route is part of Loganair's ongoing commitment to expand travel options from Jersey, providing both leisure and business travellers with more direct connections. In addition to Bordeaux, Loganair will continue to operate seasonal flights from Jersey to Norwich, East Midlands, and Paris Charles de Gaulle, further enhancing links between the Channel Islands, the UK, and Europe.
Ronnie Matheson, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair, expressed enthusiasm for the new route, stating, "Bordeaux is a fantastic addition to our Jersey schedule for summer 2026, offering customers a direct gateway to one of France’s most popular regions."
Matt Thomas, CEO at Ports of Jersey, highlighted the significance of the new service, noting that it provides Islanders with greater flexibility for travel to the south of France and opens Jersey to a wider audience in the Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
Passengers flying with Loganair will benefit from a 21kg baggage allowance and the opportunity to collect Avios through Loganair Loyalty. The airline was recognised as the most punctual major airline for UK arrivals and departures in 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 81% of flights on time
