Major Travel, a prominent UK-based travel wholesaler, has introduced a new cruise booking function on its Major Go platform, allowing travel agents to manage complete cruise holidays through a single interface. This innovative feature, launched on 17 August 2026, aims to simplify the booking process by enabling agents to create, price, and book tailor-made cruise holidays without switching between multiple providers.
The platform offers access to leading cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Disney Cruise Line. Additionally, agents can incorporate flights, hotels, and transfers into a single booking, ensuring a seamless experience for their clients. This integration eliminates the need for separate bookings, providing a streamlined process for agents and enhancing customer service.
Qasim Gulamhusein, Managing Director at Major Travel, highlighted the platform's potential, stating, "This is a real game changer for agents selling cruise. Being able to create the whole holiday in one place... makes it much easier to offer customers a truly tailor-made experience."
Currently in its pilot phase, the new function invites agents to participate and provide feedback, with an additional incentive of $61 (£50) for each cruise booking made through Major Go until September. This initiative not only rewards agents but also helps refine the platform ahead of its full launch.
Major Travel, established in 1974, continues to support travel agents with a comprehensive range of services, maintaining its reputation as an independent, family-run business dedicated to agent relationships and service excellence
