Meriwether Companies has announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar transformation of La Valle Coastal Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California. The 225-acre private club, formerly known as Morgan Run, now offers a blend of hospitality, recreation, wellness, dining, and sports facilities, aiming to provide a relaxed yet luxurious experience.

The renovation, costing $50 million, was driven by the desire to offer world-class amenities without the traditional formality. Dave Likins, a partner at Meriwether Companies, stated, "La Valle is built around staying active, enjoying time outdoors, and coming together."

The Guesthouse Hotel, a 77-room boutique hotel, serves as the hospitality centrepiece, allowing guests to experience the club's amenities. The golf facilities have been significantly upgraded, with 27 holes across three courses—Olivos, Cedros, and Palmas—offering a scenic and walkable experience. Enhancements include new greens, fairways, and expanded practice facilities.

The Verde Wellness Centre introduces a range of fitness and recovery options, including yoga, Pilates, and advanced therapies like Lumati Red Light treatments. The club also boasts eight tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, and two Padel courts.

Dining at La Valle includes the Gather California Kitchen, offering a menu with coastal influences, and the Oasis Café for casual poolside dining. The Swing Suite provides a speakeasy-style lounge with a multisport simulator.

The transformation reflects a shift towards a more casual and social club experience, integrating art and design inspired by Southern California.
