Moab Air Service expands with new routes

Canyonlands Regional Airport in Moab, Utah, is set to enhance its connectivity with the introduction of new flight services to Denver and Salt Lake City starting in October. United Express will commence year-round flights to Denver on 7 October, whilst Delta Connection will resume seasonal flights to Salt Lake City from 1 October. Both services will be operated by SkyWest Airlines.

The new routes aim to provide travellers with more convenient access to Moab from major hubs, facilitating connections across the United and Delta airline networks. Michael Soleta, director of the Moab Office of Tourism, emphasised the benefits, stating, "New service from Denver and Salt Lake City makes Moab easier to reach from across the country and around the world."

United Express will operate one or two daily roundtrip flights between Canyonlands Regional Airport and Denver International Airport, with the inaugural flight departing Denver at 8 am on 7 October. Delta Connection will offer one daily roundtrip flight to Salt Lake City International Airport, operating through Thanksgiving before pausing and resuming in March.

Cody Thomas, Managing Director of Market Development at SkyWest Airlines, expressed enthusiasm for the new services, highlighting the ease and convenience for local travellers and the opportunities for visitors to explore the Moab region.

Both United and Delta flights will utilise 50-passenger aircraft, with booking available through the airlines' websites and mobile apps.
