TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

The Museum of Illusions is set to open its first Northern California location in downtown Sacramento on 6 November. Situated at 405 K Street, Suite 125, this 10,000-square-foot venue will be the museum's 72nd location globally and its third in California, following San Diego and Santa Monica. The museum promises to captivate visitors with its immersive rooms, standalone illusions, and holograms designed to challenge perceptions.

The Sacramento location aims to blend entertainment with education, offering hands-on exhibits that reveal the science behind visual illusions. "Sacramento's history is full of illusions," said Kim Schaefer, CEO of Museum of Illusions. "This is a place where families, friends, and coworkers can step inside an illusion together and leave with a story and a photo to match."

Incorporating elements of Sacramento's Gold Rush history, the museum features signature exhibits such as Building Illusion, Following Eyes, and Reverse Room. To celebrate its opening, the museum is offering a Book Early Offer with buy-one-get-one-free tickets available until 5 November. Additionally, a Grand Opening Offer will provide 20% off tickets from 6 November to 4 December.

The museum will operate from 10 am to 9 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 10 am to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. General admission is priced at $30 for adults and $26 for children aged 5 to 12. Illusion Experts will be available to help visitors capture memorable photos and understand the illusions.
