The Nevis Tourism Authority has successfully concluded its largest travel adviser initiative to date, engaging with over 650 top-producing advisers across five key cities in the Northeast United States. This summer showcase, a collaboration with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, aimed to strengthen trade relationships and increase awareness of Nevis as a boutique Caribbean destination.

The showcase visited Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Boston, providing travel advisers with direct access to destination representatives and tourism suppliers. Key figures from the Nevis Tourism Authority, including Director of Sales and Marketing Pheon Jones and US Sales Representative Cyndi Miller Aird, led the mission alongside their counterparts from St. Kitts.

Originally launched as the travel industry emerged from the pandemic, the Northeast Summer Showcase has evolved into a significant event, with this year's attendance expected to surpass previous records. The event attracted advisers from leading consortia such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, and AAA Travel, offering them opportunities to build relationships and gain insights into Nevis and St. Kitts.

Pheon Jones highlighted the importance of travel advisers, stating, “Travel advisers play an essential role in introducing Nevis to discerning travellers who value authenticity, privacy, and a deeper connection to the places they visit.” The showcase emphasised Nevis's unique offerings, including wellness, culinary tourism, and sustainability, reinforcing its appeal as a destination for personalised holidays.

This initiative underscores Nevis's commitment to high-value tourism and sustained engagement with the travel trade, aiming to build a network of knowledgeable advocates for the island's distinctive qualities
