Pegasus Airlines has announced a strategic partnership with Overwatch AI to enhance its operational efficiency through an AI-powered platform. This collaboration, led by Pegasus Innovation Lab, aims to provide pilots, cabin crews, and operations teams with quicker access to critical information, thereby supporting more effective decision-making processes.

The platform, developed by Overwatch AI, is designed specifically for airline operations and enables teams to retrieve information using natural language. This includes data on technical issues, weather assessments, and airport and airline requirements. Currently, the platform is utilised in 30,000 flight operations globally each month, demonstrating its capacity to improve operational efficiency.

Barış Fındık, Chief Technology Officer at Pegasus Airlines, highlighted the importance of digitalisation in achieving operational excellence. “Through this broad collaboration with Overwatch AI, we aim to enable our teams to access critical information more quickly and make more effective decisions across operational processes,” he stated. Fındık also noted the significant opportunities AI presents for the aviation industry.

Pegasus Airlines, established in 1990 and a leader in Türkiye’s low-cost airline sector, operates a network extending to 160 destinations across 56 countries.
