TAV Operation Services, a subsidiary of TAV Airports and part of Groupe ADP, has launched its next-generation Primeclass lounge at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport. This marks the first implementation of a lifestyle-driven hospitality concept that aims to transform airport lounges into dynamic environments catering to travellers' diverse needs.
The Sofia lounge, described as a "Haven on Earth," offers a hybrid space where guests can seamlessly transition between social, productive, or restful states. It features five experience zones—Live, Enjoy, Work, Relax, and Play—each designed to enhance the traveller's journey. The lounge includes a bar, dining area, work zones, a kids' area, a nap room, and an outdoor terrace.
Aude Ferrand, Chief Commercial Officer of TAV Airports Holding and CEO of TAV Operation Services, emphasised Sofia's strategic importance as a rapidly evolving aviation hub. "Sofia marks the beginning of this transformation, which we will continue to scale across our global network," Ferrand stated.
The lounge also integrates local culture through a Local Artist Wall, showcasing works by Bulgarian artists like Stela Vasileva and Alexander Valchev. The culinary offerings blend Bulgarian flavours with international cuisine, creating a unique dining experience.
Jesús Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect, expressed pride in the partnership with TAV Operation Services. "This milestone is more than the opening of a lounge; it is a clear step forward in our journey to transform the passenger experience," he said.
