Protect Group, a leader in reservation and ticket protection solutions, has announced a target to safeguard over $10 billion in bookings by the end of 2026. This ambitious goal marks a 25% increase from the previous period, where the company protected over $8 billion in bookings. The surge in demand for flexible, integrated solutions is driven by recent global disruptions, such as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has led to significant travel cancellations and rerouting.

The company's growth strategy hinges on strategic partnerships with airlines, online travel agencies (OTAs), ticketing operators, and hotels. By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), Protect Group aims to enhance customer experience and improve booking conversion rates. Currently, 75% of refund requests are processed and paid on the same day, maintaining efficiency whilst providing personalised support when needed.

Jason Walsh, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at Protect Group, highlighted the industry's rapid evolution: "The travel industry is evolving faster than ever with travellers and operators alike expecting flexibility. Our integrated solutions allow customers to travel with confidence, whilst helping our partners increase conversion, retain clients, and generate additional revenue without adding operational complexity."

Central to Protect Group's offerings is Refund Protect, a service allowing customers to upgrade their tickets for full refunds in unforeseen circumstances. The AI-driven Pulse platform supports this by delivering scalable, personalised experiences. Additionally, Protect Plus offers services like flight delay compensation and carbon offsetting, aligning with modern travellers' expectations.

To broaden its market reach, Protect Group has launched theAgent Portal, facilitating reservation protection for travel agencies without technical integration. This initiative taps into sectors like cruises and tours, where traditional agencies dominate bookings. Integration with Aven Hospitality further accelerates expansion in the hospitality sector, enabling efficient reservation protection sales
