TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Ramco Systems, a global enterprise software company, marked its 30th anniversary in Malaysia with the Ramco Now & Next event, where it unveiled its upcoming AI-native enterprise platform. This marks the third major rebuild of Ramco's platform, transitioning from a system of record to a system of intelligence and action. The platform aims to streamline enterprise software by highlighting critical information and drafting actions for human approval.

During the event, Ramco demonstrated how the platform could identify stock shortfalls across warehouses and prepare replenishment requests for approval. "Nobody running a business today is short of information," said Abinav Raja, Managing Director of Ramco Systems. "They are short of the time to go and assemble it into something they can act on."

Ramco's new platform is designed to enhance efficiency by using AI and Machine Learning to process tasks whilst allowing human oversight for decision-making. This approach is exemplified in payroll processing, where continuous validation replaces monthly cycles, flagging anomalies as they occur.

Ramco has been operating in Malaysia since 1996, processing payroll for over 100,000 employees across more than 50 organisations. Kuala Lumpur serves as a regional support hub, with Singapore as the Asia headquarters. CEO Sandesh Bilagi highlighted the importance of long-standing client relationships, stating, "Thirty years is not the achievement. Those relationships are."

The event also recognised key Malaysian clients, including Valiram Group, Hitachi Energy, and Aurecon, for their contributions to Ramco's journey. Ramco expects its extensive domain knowledge to bolster the new platform's reach across the region.
