Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind The Red Sea and AMAALA, has announced an expanded flight schedule with 32 additional flights to accommodate the surge in travel demand for Eid al-Adha. Operating from 21 to 31 May, the extra flights provide greater flexibility for travellers during one of Saudi Arabia's peak travel periods.
The expanded schedule includes 24 additional flights from Riyadh, bringing the total to 46, and eight more from Jeddah, totalling 18. Dubai and Doha will each operate eight flights, ensuring seamless access for both domestic and international visitors. This increase reflects a rising interest in high-quality, experience-led travel within Saudi Arabia, as residents and visitors seek unique escapes.
The Red Sea destination now boasts nine hotels, offering diverse experiences from island retreats to desert escapes. Notable accommodations include Six Senses, Southern Dunes, and Desert Rock for desert stays, and St. Regis Red Sea Resort and Nujuma for secluded island experiences. Shura Island offers a vibrant atmosphere with InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, SLS The Red Sea, and The Red Sea EDITION.
Adding to the allure, ADRENA, an adventure district, offers over 20 land and water experiences, including Saudi Arabia's largest saltwater surf pool. This Eid, The Red Sea will host a curated programme featuring dining, music, and cultural experiences, including a five-course menu by Michelin-starred chef Osman Sezener and various family-friendly activities.
Flights are operated by Saudia, Qatar Airways, and flydubai, ensuring convenient travel options for all visitors
