Riyadh Air has unveiled the Nawat Cabin Crew Programme, a significant initiative designed to foster aviation careers for Saudi nationals. This programme is part of the airline's broader strategy to connect Saudi Arabia to over 100 global destinations by 2030. The initiative will recruit thousands of Saudis, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to represent Riyadh Air and the Kingdom internationally.

The Nawat Cabin Crew Programme offers an eight-month training course developed in partnership with Bunyan for Training Academy in Riyadh. It covers technical expertise, safety procedures, language proficiency, and professional service. Applications are open online, with a national roadshow providing in-person support starting in Riyadh.

Nahar Aljahani, Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Business Partners at Riyadh Air, emphasised the programme's role in developing the Kingdom’s aviation sector, stating it supports the goal of creating over 200,000 job opportunities under Vision 2030.

This initiative complements Riyadh Air's existing programmes, including the Aircraft Engineering Programme and Cadet Pilot Programme, further localising aviation roles. It also aligns with the airline's commitment to empowering Saudi talent, offering pathways for advancement and stability within the aviation industry.

Riyadh Air, a wholly owned PIF company, launched in March 2023, aims to redefine global travel with a modern fleet and sustainable practices. By 2030, the airline plans to connect guests to over 100 destinations worldwide, showcasing authentic Saudi hospitality
