Saudia unveils Premium Economy at WTM London 2026

Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national airline, has unveiled its new Premium Economy Class seat at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026. The launch forms part of its ‘New Saudia Experience’, a major investment to modernise its fleet and improve passenger comfort.

The new cabin sits between Economy and Business Class. It offers a seat pitch of up to 43 inches, a 15.5-inch entertainment screen, an extendable calf rest and additional personal storage. These features aim to give passengers more space, comfort and privacy.

Passengers will first experience Premium Economy on Saudia’s Boeing 787 aircraft in 2027. The airline also plans to retrofit selected Airbus A330, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 aircraft.

“The introduction of Premium Economy marks another step in enhancing the choices and comfort available to our guests,” said Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia.

Alongside the new cabin, Saudia showcased its latest Business Class offering on the Airbus A321XLR. The aircraft features 24 Business Class suites, each with a fully flat bed and direct aisle access. The airline also highlighted its onboard amenities and hospitality services.

Established in 1945, Saudia operates a fleet of 156 aircraft and serves around 100 destinations worldwide. The airline has also received several industry awards, including ‘Best Airline Staff Service in the Middle East’ at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
