Finnair to start flights to Toronto in summer 2026

Finnair will start flights to Toronto, Canada, on 4 May 2026 and will have three weekly frequencies to the city next summer; on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. The route re-opening sees Finnair return to Toronto after a 11-year hiatus, as the company last flew to Toronto in summer 2015. "We are excited to grow our North American network and bring Canada back as a destination. Toronto is a popular travel destination and offers especially our European customers great connections also to other parts of Canada,” says Christine Rovelli, Finnair’s Chief Revenue Officer. Toronto, Canada's biggest city and the country's commercial and financial hub, is known for its multicultural and vibrant cultural life. Qatar Airways increases flights to Toronto and São Paulo

Qatar Airways is broadening horizons for travellers to and from the Americas with its upcoming increase in flights to Toronto and São Paulo. Reaffirming its focus on serving growing demand, the airline will serve Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) with five weekly flights from 19 June 2025, and São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) with 17 weekly flights from 25 June 2025. Etihad Airways is excited to announce that its legendary A380 will serve the Abu Dhabi – Toronto route in time for Summer 2025. The famous double-decker will start flying between Zayed Abu Dhabi International (AUH) and Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) on 24 June 2025, perfectly timed for the busy summer travel period and key corporate market. Qatar Airways is marking two historic milestones: new flights to Toronto Canada, and more Starlink-enabled aircraft than ever before. The airline’s inaugural flight to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) – a Starlink-enabled Boeing 777 – landed today, officially marking the launch of three weekly non-stop flights from the World’s Best Airport as voted by Skytrax in 2024, Hamad International Airport (DOH). Etihad brings more to Toronto with start of A350 service, while Boston goes daily

Toronto Pearson Airport welcomed the arrival of Etihad Airways' first Airbus A350 on Sunday, October 27, 2024, marking a further upgrade to the national airline of the UAE’s daily services between Abu Dhabi and Canada.  The new aircraft extends the guest experience with its state-of-the-art design and Etihad’s latest cabin interior, representing Etihad’s ongoing commitment to offering a world-class travel experience for passengers flying between Canada and the UAE. Air Transat launches daily services from Glasgow to Toronto for summer 2024

Air Transat is launching an expanded schedule of flights from Glasgow this summer, with up to daily non-stop services to Toronto commencing from next week (w/c 20th May). These increased services run until October, and are an increase from the airline’s 2023 winter schedule of two flights per week.
