Shinsegae Simon, the operator of South Korea's leading premium outlets, is expanding transportation and services to accommodate the increasing number of international visitors.
The company, which manages outlets in Yeoju, Paju, Busan, Siheung, and Jeju, is enhancing accessibility to these destinations, particularly focusing on Yeoju Premium Outlets, a flagship location known for its wide array of global luxury and Korean brands.
In response to the growing trend of Free Independent Travellers, Shinsegae Simon has introduced additional transport options. As of 17 June, a late-evening round trip has been added to the public express bus route between Seoul Express Bus Terminal in Gangnam and Yeoju Premium Outlets. This service, operated by Dongbu Express, now offers eight weekday and ten weekend round trips, enabling visitors to enjoy evening shopping.
Furthermore, the direct day-tour bus service to Yeoju Premium Outlets has increased from three to five times a week starting 1 July. Departing from popular tourist areas like Myeongdong and Hongdae, this service provides approximately six hours of shopping and leisure. Initially launched in April 2025, the service has gained popularity, with tickets available on global online travel agency platforms. Due to high demand, the company plans to offer daily services by the end of the year.
Shinsegae Simon is also enhancing customer convenience by supporting major mobile payment platforms such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, and LINE Pay Taiwan. Additionally, exclusive discount coupons and tax refund kiosks are available for international visitors, further enriching their shopping experience
