Siri Sala Private Thai Villa has announced the return of its curated art journey, "A Curated Journey of BAB 2026: City to River," set for 1 November 2026. In collaboration with the Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB) 2026, this event offers a unique exploration of contemporary art, connecting Bangkok's historic sites and waterways.
The journey begins at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) at 2 PM, where guests will view selected works from the BAB 2026 exhibition. Participants will then proceed to Wat Pho, a significant cultural landmark and Biennale venue. As evening approaches, guests will embark on a private boat along the Chao Phraya River, continuing into Khlong Bangkok Noi, before concluding with drinks and dinner at Siri Sala.
The event, priced at $180 (THB 6,500++) per guest, promises an immersive experience with guided visits by BAB 2026 curators and opportunities to meet participating artists. The theme of BAB 2026, "Angels & Mara," explores the tension between opposing forces, with the Biennale running from 29 October 2026 to 28 February 2027 across various Bangkok venues.
Kirati Thepsoparn, Co-Founder of Siri Sala, remarked, “This is more than a tour. It is a way of experiencing Bangkok through its art, its history and its waterways; moving from the contemporary city into the quieter rhythms of the river and finally arriving at Siri Sala.” The journey aims to offer a deeper connection to Bangkok's cultural heritage through art and history.
