Snowbound Expo, a staple in the East Coast winter sports community for over 40 years, has announced its permanent relocation to the Earth Expo & Convention Centre at Mohegan Sun. This move, set for 14-15 November, marks a significant shift from its previous Boston location, aiming to attract over 23,000 enthusiasts, athletes, and industry leaders to kick off the 2026-27 winter season.

The relocation offers exhibitors a prime opportunity to unveil new products, drive sales, and establish key partnerships just before the winter rush. The event promises a robust marketing campaign with over three million digital and PR impressions, ensuring high visibility for participating brands.

Mohegan Sun's state-of-the-art facilities will host a variety of attractions, including the Après-Party After Hours, Ice Coast Rail Jam, and The Big Slope, providing engaging experiences for attendees. The expo will also feature appearances from renowned winter sports figures such as Olympic champion Jessie Diggins and snowboarder Travis Rice.

Kim Simone, VP of Sales & Marketing for Mohegan Sun, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, "Snowbound Expo's big move from Boston to Mohegan Sun is a huge addition to our line-up of major conventions and expo events."

The strategic relocation aims to enhance partner engagement and streamline operations, with the event condensed from three days to two. This change allows exhibitors to focus on sales whilst reducing resource demands. Mohegan Sun's expansive venue, with its extensive amenities, is expected to draw significant interest from regional and destination ski resorts.

Current partners include Subaru of New England, Ikon Pass, and Colorado Ski Shop, with more expected to join. The expo will continue to expand its roster for the 2026 season, with tickets available from September 2026
