HIAL encouraged by steady growth in annual passenger figures
Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) has seen a 3.5% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers for 2023/24 across its network of 11 airports bringing the total number of passengers to almost 1.5million.

Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL) is to invest £9 million in new energy efficient Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) systems at Kirkwall and Inverness airports as part of an ongoing programme to maintain airport infrastructure that will also bring environmental benefits.
HIAL Board appoints Paul Kelsall as CEO
The HIAL Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Kelsall as CEO. Paul, who has a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the aviation sector will join HIAL on 20 May 2024.
