Last summer, scientists from the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, travelled onboard PONANT’s Le Commandant Charcot to the geographic North Pole. The main objective was to obtain scientific data about the ice thickness.
