Tamarack Resort has announced that its Osprey Meadows Golf Course has been named the best public course in Idaho by Golfweek and is also listed among the top 100 resort courses in the United States. This accolade highlights the resort's status as a leading mountain golf destination.

Originally designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones II architecture firm, Osprey Meadows underwent a significant restoration and reimagining in 2024. The 18-hole, par-73 championship course spans 7,447 yards and features dramatic mountain terrain, waterfalls, wetlands, and panoramic views of Lake Cascade and Idaho's West Central Mountains.

Scott Turlington, President of Tamarack Resort, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, "This recognition from Golfweek is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the incredible work that our team has put into restoring and elevating Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort."

Located 90 miles north of Boise, the course offers a unique golfing experience with its elevation of nearly 5,000 feet, five sets of tees, and a slope rating of 142. Chris Peterson, PGA Director of Golf at Tamarack Resort, noted that the course provides "unique challenges for players of every skill level."

In addition to daily public play, Osprey Meadows hosts tournaments and private events, anchoring Tamarack's summer amenities, which include a marina, mountain biking, hiking, and a vibrant alpine-style village. The resort, known for its ski, golf, and lake offerings, continues to expand its appeal to visitors seeking diverse recreational activities
