TFE Hotels has officially opened the Adina Chermside Brisbane, marking a significant expansion in Brisbane's northern corridor. The launch coincides with Australian Made Week, highlighting TFE's dedication to local brands and authentic Australian hospitality. Chris Sedgwick, TFE Hotels' Group Chief Operating Officer, emphasised the brand's focus on delivering authentic experiences and thoughtful design. "It’s why we champion local partnerships, showcase Australian artists and makers, and create spaces that feel distinctly connected to their destination," he stated.
Located minutes from Westfield Chermside and The Prince Charles Hospital, the 148-room hotel is developed by Limitless Developments and designed by WMK Architecture. It offers a mix of studio rooms and one-bedroom flats, complete with kitchen and laundry facilities. Guest amenities include an all-day café and bar, meeting rooms, a gym, and undercover parking.
Adina Chermside showcases a design-led interpretation of subtropical urban living, integrating sustainability measures and local partnerships, such as with Dilkara amenities and photographer Sam Thies. General Manager Sue Rowe noted the hotel's welcoming and connected atmosphere, stating, "We’re already seeing strong demand from guests who want space, flexibility and a real connection to where they’re staying."
The hotel aims to cater to a diverse range of travellers, from business to leisure, with conference spaces for up to 22 guests. TFE Hotels CEO Antony Ritch highlighted the strategic importance of Queensland, citing the state's Destination 2045 plan and its role as a gateway to the Indo-Pacific markets. The opening marks a milestone for Rowe, her first hotel opening in a 28-year career with TFE Hotels
