Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel have launched new year-end holiday packages for Indian travellers. Announced on 30 October, the collection combines traditional New Year celebrations with immersive travel experiences across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and India.

The packages include ready-to-book, air-inclusive group tours and customised itineraries. Travellers can choose summer escapes in Australia and New Zealand, winter celebrations in Europe or cultural journeys across Asia.

Highlights include Sydney's famous harbour fireworks, Europe's festive Christmas markets and traditional temple visits in Japan.

For domestic holidays, the companies are promoting premium island escapes in Lakshadweep. New direct charter flights from Bengaluru will improve access to the islands. The packages also feature Bhutan, with charter departures from Mumbai.

Spiritual tourism is another focus. Pilgrimage itineraries include popular destinations such as the Char Dham circuit and Vaishno Devi.

Cruise holidays add another option for year-end celebrations. Itineraries cover Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Arctic. Guests can enjoy onboard festivities and excursions at various ports.

Rajeev Kale, president and country head of holidays at Thomas Cook India, highlighted the growing appeal of combining New Year celebrations with destination experiences.

S.D. Nandakumar, president and country head at SOTC Travel, said the new itineraries cater to a wide range of traveller interests.

The launch reflects growing demand for personalised and experience-led holidays. The companies aim to offer Indian travellers more ways to celebrate the festive season and welcome 2027.
