Tickets for K-Royal Culture Festival available from 4 September

The Korea Heritage Service has announced that tickets for the K-Royal Culture Festival Autumn 2026 will be available from 4 September. The festival, organised by the Korea Heritage Agency, will run from 7 to 11 October across Seoul's four royal palaces—Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, and Changgyeonggung—as well as Jongmyo Shrine. This year's event promises a unique experience with new programmes and increased opportunities for international visitors.

The festival, a flagship national heritage event, will offer a variety of activities, including performances, exhibitions, and historical reenactments. The spring edition of the festival attracted approximately 725,000 visitors, setting a new record. This autumn, the festival will introduce new programmes such as the Gyujanggak Chogye Munsin Workshop and Tracing Joseon Space, alongside expanded nighttime viewing and guided tours.

On 6 October, the eve of the festival, a special performance by KBS2's Immortal Songs will take place at Gyeongbokgung Palace, featuring a blend of traditional Korean music and K-pop. Admission is free, with applications available through the KBS Immortal Songs website.

Each palace will host unique programmes, such as the Hanbok Royal Banquet at Gyeongbokgung and the Tracing Joseon Space exhibition at Changdeokgung. Deoksugung Palace will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Emperor Sunjong's passing, whilst Changgyeonggung Palace will offer a Time Travel experience. Jongmyo Shrine will feature a mission-based guided tour for teenagers.

To accommodate international visitors, the festival will reserve spaces for them in various programmes, including the Hanbok Royal Banquet and the special eve performance. Tickets for the festival and partner programmes will be available through Ticketlink and Creatrip
