Togeter we stand! Qingdao in China donates masks to Japanese travel industry

Travel agencies and companies in Qingdao, China, which have close links with Japan, extended their support to neighbouring countries, including Japan, where COVID-19 is widespread.

Qingdao Tourism Association and various travel agencies in Qingdao had organised a joint project with Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau, to donate a total of 15,000 masks to the Japan Travel Association and seven major travel agencies in Japan.

According to Kaichun Li, secretary-general of Qingdao Tourism Association, these donations have been supported by travellers in Qingdao and would strengthen the city’s ties with the Japanese travel industry.
