A combination of unbeatable tactical offers and enhanced rewards has helped drive Travel 2’s business to new heights during the peak selling period. The worldwide tour operator has seen bookings leap around the globe, as retailers make the most of the group’s targeted support.
Kerry Gallagher, marketing director of Travel 2 said: “As the peaks ‘Ready to Rock’ campaign enters its last few weeks, we’re delighted with how well agents have embraced our promotion and have been selling Travel 2 products all around the world. It demonstrates their loyalty to the brand and how much they trust us to deliver for their clients.”
So far, it is the Caribbean that is recording the biggest growth, with bookings up 25% on last year. This success is followed with increased bookings to North America (up 14%), and Africa and Dubai (both up 9%), Gallagher added.
The solid performance this year had been driven by the dramatic increase in its marketing support for agents – both in terms of printed collateral and online resources. The operator has focused on producing social media materials which agents can use to communicate with their clients via their Facebook page which launched in July 2019.
