Turkish Airlines has revealed its December 2025 traffic statistics, showing a significant increase in passenger numbers and capacity. The airline carried 7.3 million passengers, marking a 9.2% rise in passenger capacity compared to December 2024. The total load factor for the month was 82.6%, with international and domestic load factors at 82.6% and 82.7%, respectively.
The number of international-to-international passengers saw a notable increase of 14.1%, rising from 2.8 million in December 2024 to 3.2 million in the same period of 2025. Available seat kilometres (ASK) also grew by 9.2%, reaching 23.3 billion compared to 21.4 billion in the previous year. Additionally, the cargo and mail carried increased by 15.9%, totalling 192,400 tonnes.
For the entire year of 2025, Turkish Airlines reported an 8.8% increase in total passengers, reaching 92.6 million. The international-to-international passenger count rose by 12.8% to 35.7 million. The total load factor for the year was 83.2%, with international and domestic load factors at 82.9% and 86%, respectively. ASK for the year increased by 7.5% to 273.2 billion, and the cargo/mail carried rose by 8.4% to 2.2 million tonnes.
By the end of December 2025, Turkish Airlines' fleet consisted of 516 aircraft. These results highlight the airline's robust recovery and growth in both passenger and cargo sectors.
