Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company has announced impressive financial results for the first half of 2026, with significant growth attributed to resilient travel demand and strategic international expansion. The airline reported a separate revenue of VND45.030 trillion (approximately $1.71 billion) and a consolidated revenue of VND51.536 trillion (approximately $1.96 billion), marking year-on-year increases of 26% and 44%, respectively.

Vietjet's ambitious plans include a long-term investment in over 600 next-generation aircraft, one of the largest orders in the Asia-Pacific region, to support its global network development towards 2030. The airline's total assets reached VND149.093 trillion (approximately $5.68 billion) by the end of June 2026, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of 2.37 times.

In the second quarter alone, Vietjet operated nearly 33,000 flights, carrying over 6.2 million passengers. The airline's network now spans 213 routes, including new international connections to China, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic. This expansion aims to bolster trade, investment, and tourism links between Vietnam and international markets.

Vietjet is also enhancing passenger experiences with services like hot meals, duty-free shopping, and digital booking options. The airline's AirportNEO has commenced ground handling operations, and its air cargo and training activities are expanding, reinforcing its integrated aviation ecosystem.
