Vietnam's Sovico Group, the parent company of Vietjet, hosted the Hello America 2026 Investment Conference in New York, marking a significant step in strengthening Vietnam's global economic ties. The event, coinciding with General Secretary and President To Lam's visit to the US, saw the presentation of 23 Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements with leading US and international corporations.

Vietjet, HDBank, and Vikki Bank expanded their cooperation with major partners such as Pratt & Whitney, SKY Leasing, Citi, and Mastercard. These agreements aim to connect Vietnam with global technology, capital, and expertise, fostering opportunities for trade, investment, and employment, and contributing to the Vietnam–US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Vietjet and Pratt & Whitney are set to enhance their strategic relationship by developing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for next-generation engines in Vietnam. This initiative supports Vietjet's fleet growth and aims to serve other operators in the Asia-Pacific region.

Further, Vietjet's collaboration with SKY Leasing and FTAI Aviation will expand fleet financing and asset management solutions, whilst its partnership with Mastercard will enhance digital payments and customer engagement in Vietnam's aviation sector.

HDBank and Vikki Bank are also advancing digital transformation and financial expertise connections with global partners. HDBank's collaboration with Citi and Standard Chartered will focus on advisory services and international funding, whilst Vikki Bank's agreement with Mastercard will develop digital payment solutions.
