Virgin Atlantic unveils revamped Heathrow Clubhouse

Virgin Atlantic has revealed its newly refurbished Clubhouse at London Heathrow, enhancing the pre-flight experience for Upper Class passengers. The redesign includes a new cinema area, work pods, and the exclusive Royal Box VIP area, offering a blend of comfort and style. The revamped space aims to provide a serene environment before take-off.

The Clubhouse now features two new pop-up wellness experiences. Guests can enjoy self-guided meditation in Somadomes, which offer a calming 20-minute session using light and sound therapy. Additionally, a partnership with Secret Spa brings a curated menu of treatments, including massages and facials, available until 30 April.

The Royal Box, described as “the best seats in the house,” offers a private retreat with runway views and a bespoke “Cabinet of Curiosities” table. This exclusive area is designed to immerse guests in Virgin Atlantic’s signature style, with nods to cultural and pop royalty.

Two new work pods, The Townhouse and The Manor, are introduced for those needing to work before their flight. These spaces pay homage to Virgin Records and are equipped with integrated power and stylish desk setups.

The Gallery, a popular spot in the Clubhouse, has been redesigned to maximise runway views and accommodate more guests. It features artwork by UK artists and subtle references to London’s transport heritage.

Chief Customer Officer Juha Jaervinen stated, “The Clubhouse is an iconic part of the Virgin Atlantic experience, and we’re proud to be unveiling a bold new chapter at Heathrow.” He hinted at future developments, including new ways for guests to enjoy plane spotting from the roof terrace
