Visit Qatar partners with Web Summit Qatar 2026

Visit Qatar has joined Web Summit Qatar 2026 as the Travel and Hospitality Partner, marking its presence at the prestigious global technology conference, which commenced today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. The summit, a key event in the region, gathers founders, investors, startups, and industry leaders to discuss technology trends and digital transformation.

As part of its involvement, Visit Qatar is sponsoring the VIP Lounge, a two-storey space designed to showcase Qatar's renowned hospitality. The lounge offers a premium networking environment for global decision-makers and innovators. It features technology-driven activations, including an Interactive Travel Journal developed with Snapchat, and an AI Concierge to assist travellers in exploring Qatar.

The lounge also provides all-day catering by St. Regis Hotel Doha and a speciality coffee service in collaboration with Flat White. A giveaway station, in partnership with Needle, aims to enhance visitor engagement.

Web Summit Qatar 2026 is hosting over 30,000 attendees, 1,600 startups, 800 investors, and 400 speakers, making it the largest edition yet. This expansion follows a successful 2025 summit, which saw significant increases in attendance and participation.

Visit Qatar's participation underscores its commitment to positioning Qatar as a hub for innovation and technology-driven tourism, aligning with the country's goals for economic diversification and international event hosting
