Where tranquillity meets luxury at Oasia Resort Sentosa
With borders poised to re-open and international visitors looking for new destinations and fresh travel experiences, Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s leading operator of hotels and serviced residences, has launched their fourth property in Sentosa — Oasia Resort Sentosa on 1 September 2021.
Oasia Resort Sentosa is Far East Hospitality’s first foray into the resort and spa category, and completes the homegrown company’s ensemble of differentiated hotels in the Sentosa precinct, each catering to a specific market segment — Village Hotel Sentosa for families, The Outpost Hotel for couples, The Barracks Hotel for heritage aficionados, and Oasia Resort Sentosa which caters to a growing trend of wellness conscious travellers. The four unique hotels combine to offer a total room inventory of 1,030 keys.
Launching in tandem with Oasia Resort Sentosa is Oasia Spa, the integral feature of the resort and Far East Hospitality’s first ever spa destination. The 191-key wellness resort, together with its Asian-inspired spa offerings, offers guests a signature Oasia wellness experience with its spectrum of thoughtful amenities and holistic programmes.
“At Far East Hospitality, we are always looking at opportunities to expand our service offerings to cater to the ever-changing needs and preferences of guests. Post-pandemic, health and wellness will be a key hospitality niche and we want to be ready to capture this market segment when recovery happens. Our foray into the resort and spa category with Oasia Resort Sentosa is a part of our company-wide transformation strategy to meet these new demands,” said Arthur Kiong, Chief Executive Officer of Far East Hospitality Management.
Kiong, who was instrumental in driving these new concepts, added: “Every effort was taken to ensure that Oasia Resort Sentosa and Oasia Spa elevates the wellness experience to provide a memorable staycation. From the curated programmes to amenities, every offering in the resort and spa is designed to imprint on guests the importance of self-care. We look forward to taking guests through an all-encompassing wellness experience that will leave them rejuvenated and refreshed.”
Surrounded by the island’s lush vegetation and scenic views, the resort’s newly redesigned areas are inspired by nature’s beauty. The resort’s façade maintains the old charm of its conservation building while the new lobby is reminiscent of the beautiful tropics, and artfully interposes light natural colour palettes with lush greenery in this expansive and well-lit space.
Complemented by a picturesque high wall of verdant planting, the lounge evokes a sense of oneness with nature. The resort spans across a vast site area of 9,435.80 m2 and offers an array of room types.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and the step towards rejuvenation starts before arrival. Guests will be able to plan ahead of their stay by choosing from a selection of wellness itineraries designed by the resort’s health experts. These itineraries are curated to help guests achieve various goals such as invoking mindfulness, detoxing the body, and improving fitness.
