WorldVue has announced a significant expansion of its Atlas platform, transforming it into a comprehensive property technology management system. This development aims to provide hotel owners and operators with improved visibility and control over their technology environments. Originally designed as an operational intelligence layer, Atlas now addresses the challenge of fragmented technology information across various vendors and systems.
The enhanced Atlas platform will support multiple properties and brands, even those using technology services from providers other than WorldVue. Mark Schaps, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at WorldVue, stated, "Our goal is to give owners and operators one place to understand what they have, where it is, what needs attention, and what's coming next."
Key new capabilities include modules for capital budgeting, contract management, licence and subscription management, end-of-life management, compliance management, and portfolio technology management. These features aim to centralise technology-related information, aiding in better decision-making and planning.
Atlas is also improving service visibility for property teams, allowing authorised users to track technician status and work progress during field service activities. Niame Ba, Vice President of Operations at WorldVue, emphasised the importance of this feature, stating, "Property teams want visibility into when the technician is arriving, whether work has started, and when the issue is resolved."
Additionally, WorldVue is introducing MIA, an AI-powered phone agent designed to streamline support interactions by gathering initial information from customers. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of WorldVue's support teams.
The expanded Atlas platform is currently available to WorldVue customers, with further capabilities planned for future release
