Wyndham introduces First Wyndham and TRYP Hotels in China-Taiwan

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the worldโ€™s largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,100 hotels spanning more than 95 countries, announced the opening ofย  TRYP by Wyndham New Taipei Linkou and Wyndham Sun Moon Lake in partnership with Qingyuย  Property Co. Ltd and Lijing Enterprise Co. Ltd, respectively. The openings mark the first hotels for each brand in the China-Taiwan region, signifying Wyndhamโ€™s commitment to growing its presence in theย  China-Taiwan market.

As China-Taiwan continues to be a top destination for holidaymakers across the globe, these hotels bringย  new accommodations to the region for travellers seeking unforgettable experiences at an affordable cost.ย  According to the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the region recorded over 2.6 million inbound arrivals in the firstย  half of the year and is set to reach 6 million by the end of 2023. Interest in the country remains high withย  tourist numbers expected to hit 12 million in 2024, especially with recent resumption of allowing inboundย  tourists from mainland China.
