Budapest Airport has welcomed the inaugural flight of Flybe’s three times weekly service to London Southend.
It is the airport’s fifth direct connection to London.
Expecting a 14% year-on-year increase in UK passenger traffic, the Hungarian gateway will serve up to 1.5 million round-trip passengers to and from the UK capital this year.
Celebrating the arrival of a new airline partner to Hungary’s capital city, the airline’s link joins existing services with other carriers to London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton and London Stansted – making the London market the largest city pair served from Budapest.
