Larnaka tourism board updates on summer activities

Sea yoga, Larnaka

The Larnaka Tourism Board has highlighted a summer of activities this year.

The destinations offers a variety of water sports and sea-based activities, including sea yoga. The session takes place on stand-up and paddle boards in the sea. Windsurfcity Cyprus at Mckenzie Beach holds 1-hour morning yoga sessions for €16 per person.

The Lefkara Summer Festival takes place from 11-17 August which is the village’s biggest celebration showcasing its famous handicrafts of lace and silver.

The Choirokoitia Neolithic Festival on 28 August, includes a guided tour of the Choirokoitia Neolithic Settlement, complimentary Cypriot drinks and delicacies. Stalls also sell traditional delicacies and crafts, and there is a programme of Cypriot poetry and traditional dances.

Pervolia Cultural Festival on September 1 takes place with traditional exhibits and a programme featuring local song, dance and theatre. This village is famous for its lighthouse and Venetian tower, which visitors can also take in during their trip to the festival.
