Norse Atlantic Airways has reported a 35% year-on-year increase in unit revenue (TRASK) for September, reaching 5.8 US cents per available seat kilometre. This growth comes amidst targeted capacity reductions due to high fuel prices, which have impacted the number of passengers carried. Despite these challenges, the airline maintained a high load factor of 96.9%, indicating strong demand for its long-haul services.

The CEO of Norse, Eivind Roald, highlighted the company's robust network performance and stable operations, stating, “Unit revenue to date in 2026 is up 25% from last year, as Norse maintains a strong network performance with close to full aeroplanes and stable operational performance.” He also noted the airline's strategic focus on the Far East for its winter programme, which is showing positive booking momentum.

In September, Norse operated 211 flights in its scheduled network and 177 ACMI/charter flights, a significant increase from 66 the previous year. However, the total number of passengers transported decreased by 32% year-on-year to 109,202. The airline completed 99% of its scheduled flights, with 70% departing within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, though on-time performance was affected by air traffic control delays and other disruptions linked to the Middle East conflict.

Norse Atlantic Airways continues to explore opportunities for additional fleet allocation in the charter and ACMI markets, leveraging its modern fleet of 12 Boeing 787 Dreamliners to serve destinations across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
