Aviator Airport Alliance, a comprehensive aviation service provider in the Nordics, has signed a three-year contract with Wizz Air, Europe's third-largest low-cost airline, to deliver ground handling and de-icing services at eight airports in Norway. The agreement, commencing on 13 January 2026, marks a renewed partnership between the two companies.
The airports included in this agreement are Ålesund, Bergen, Bodø, Haugesund, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Tromsø, and Trondheim. Although no flights are currently scheduled for Bodø and Kristiansand, the contract allows for potential future services at these locations.
Peter Stackeryd, Managing Director of Aviator in Norway, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to see Wizz Air becoming our client again in Norway, and we are looking forward to starting this new partnership with the airline.”
This deal strengthens the existing relationship between Aviator and Wizz Air, who are already partners in Denmark and Sweden. Kristof Filemon, Airport Development Manager at Wizz Air, highlighted the importance of Aviator's "safety-first approach, high quality levels, and reliability" in supporting the airline's operations across Norway.
Wizz Air, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, transported 62.7 million passengers last year, connecting destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Aviator, part of the Avia Solutions Group, offers a wide range of aviation services at 15 Nordic airports, catering to various airline needs.
